The business changed their name to Ovation Networks in 2007 under the leadership of Larry Selensky.With over 1300 customers nationwide, we proudly offer WIFI system design, installation and support. Larry Selensky
Owner & CEO
Having more than 21 years in business to business sales and sales management experience, Larry has spent the last 15 years in the telecommunications and Wireless Internet industry. Previously working for one of the nations largest C-Lecs as Manager of Operations for the Agent Sales Channel, Larry brings with him the relationships he has built with thousands of Sales Agents throughout the United States.Larry's telecommunication sales and agent channel experience perfectly compliment the leadership and technical skills of Ovation Networks. His leadership has helped drive Ovation Networks to become one of the nations premier providers of managed wireless and wired, video and data networks.
Jim Christner
Director of Operations
Jim has more than 25 years of experience in successfully managing strategic and daily business operations while leading and guiding a team of employees. Before joining Ovation Networks, Jim spent his upcoming career in operations in the both the construction industry and telecom. Jim is proud to now lead the NOC, Fulfillment, and Dev teams who focus on the total Ovation Networks customer experience and takes great pride in making it the best that it can be.Professionally, Jim is passionate about the success of the company and providing direction and leadership to his employees to be their best. He embraces change and brings this element to enhance workplace culture, efficiency gains, and keeping up with technology. Personally, Jim is active in his faith, family, fitness, and the outdoors. You can find him golfing in the summer and hunting in the fall when there is not an Iowa or NIU football game.
Doug Banowetz
Accounting & Billing
Doug has been a certified public accountant by trade for 20 years before coming to Ovation Networks. He has been with the company for over 3 years now as a controller and helps fulfill a number of duties that help the business run smoothly.When Doug isn't in the office, he is spending time with his wife, two sons and his dog. Doug and his wife are also a host family for students who play on the Rough Riders; Cedar Rapids very own hockey team.
In his spare time, he likes watching any kind of sport, coaching baseball, playing golf, and listening to his son play the piano
